Scouting is for children, but it is their parents
as well as caring adults who give the youth scouting.
All our Leaders and committee members have vounteered
their time and talents to give scouting to all
youth members.
No one in our Scout Group is paid.
Every parent has a role to play in the success
of our Group.
Adults are asked to:
- Support their child in their scouting
career
- Support the Leaders with transport, parent
rosters and attending activities when invited
- Attend our family social events
- Serve some time on our Parent Group Committee
(if asked)
- Help with fundraising activities such as telephone
book deliveries, car washes, sausage sizzles,
trivia nights etc
- Serve on our hall/meeting areas cleaning roster
- Help with hall working bees
